Tropical Shipping is the largest containerized cargo carrier in the Caribbean. They serve virtually every island from Florida through the Bahamas, into the greater and lesser Antilles down the island chain to Venezuela.
The 2006 shipment of more than 440 cases of books to Grenada to help replenish the school libraries lost to Hurricane Ivan was the largest shipment to date.
In total, nearly 150,000 books have been shipped by Tropical to schools and libraries in the Caribbean.
