Kids in Library

Boaters for Books began its association with Nevis in 2004 with the delivery of several hundred books to the Public Library, the result of the efforts of one determined high school student in Maryland. Subsequently, Boaters for Books shipped to the Gingerland Library in Nevis. In 2009 BFB coordinated the delivery of another shipment to Students at the Nevis Special Education School, which deals with the challenges of many disabilities ranging from autism to mental retardation, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.
