| Young people of the Caribbean Islands cherish books that entertain, teach, comfort and widen their understanding of the world. They are no different than children anywhere in the world. Currently, however, supplies of children's books are severely limited. |

| "Boaters for Books" is a volunteer community of cruisers and boating enthusiasts committed to raising the level of literacy among young people in the Caribbean. We encourage all to lend a helping hand as we collect and distribute new and used children’s books to young people in the Caribbean Islands. |
